We are looking for a Trading Adviser to join the Nord Pool Operations team. The position will be based in Lysaker, Oslo, Norway, and start at the latest in October. This is a temporary position for one year. You will report to the Team Lead Auctions.

You will primarily be responsible for:

• Managing the daily and weekend operational processes for the day-ahead power market in Europe

• Securing continuous improvement of business processes to meet customer expectations and ensure robust operations

• Providing technical support for trading and market coupling systems, including testing of relevant operational and customer-facing platforms

• Contributing to the development of Nord Pool’s trading platforms and product offering

• Delivering excellent customer service during day-to-day operations

• Participating in Nord Pool’s development projects across the European power markets

• Taking part in the 24/7 rotational duty arrangements related to operations of the European power market

Your profile:

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure and in a shift-based environment

• Technical aptitude and interest in trading systems and market platforms

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, economics or a related field

• Fluency in English; knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage
