HVAC/Senior HVAC Engineer – Area

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HVAC/Senior HVAC Engineer – Area to join the team in Haugesund. You will be responsible for HVAC area engineering within the HVAC module in E3D, ensuring high-quality design, coordination, and integration across disciplines.

This position is well suited for an engineer with strong technical competence in HVAC layout design and 3D modelling, who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HVAC area engineering within the HVAC module in E3D.
• Prepare and issue ducting ISOs.
• Route ductwork and perform equipment modelling to secure an optimal HVAC design.
• Collaborate closely with the HVAC Discipline Lead, System Engineers, Package Responsible Engineer, and layout team.
• Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines in the 3D model environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within HVAC layout design.
• Experience from offshore wind HVDC projects is an advantage.
• Solid experience with the HVAC module in E3D.
• Ability to work independently, as well as contribute effectively in a team.
• Strong multidiscipline understanding.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High commitment to deadlines and quality standards.
• Proactive mindset, with willingness to seek advice and share knowledge.
• Ability to interpret and adapt to new rules and regulations.
