Project Completion Engineer – EIT

We are looking for an experienced Project Completion Engineer – EIT to join our projects! In this role, you will ensure high-quality standards across Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecommunications (EIT) disciplines, supporting Construction, Mechanical Completion (MC), and Commissioning activities toward a safe and efficient project delivery.

 

Key responsibilities:

• Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) within the EIT scope according to project plans and standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines, including ATEX, ECOM, Electrical Directive, NORSOK, and internal procedures.
• Collaborate closely with QC, Construction, MC, and Commissioning teams for project execution and handover.
• Participate in inspections, technical reviews, deviation handling, and reporting.
• Drive improvements and standardization within quality processes and collaboration.

Focus areas:

• Quality of instrumentation and piping tubing installations.
• Loop testing, cable routing, and termination quality.
• Gland installation management and ATEX compliance.
• Preservation, cleanliness, and red-line mark-up handling.
• FSE input to as-built documentation and documentation flow.

Qualifications:

• Technical college degree or trade certificate in Electrical or Automation disciplines.
• Experience in QA/QC roles within oil and gas projects.
• Strong understanding of ATEX, NORSOK, ECOM, and Electrical Directives.
• Previous involvement in multi-disciplinary project environments.
• Quality- and improvement-focused mindset with excellent collaboration skills.
• Fluency in speaking and writting in English and Norwegian.

 

Locations: we are hiring mainly for the Stavanger and Bergen areas.

Either local or rotational availability.

This is a fully mobile role, needing flexibility to support site activities as needed.
