About the role

Marketer.com is scaling fast, and we’re looking for a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to join our growing Customer Success team.

As a CSM, you will manage a portfolio of e-commerce stores in the Shopify ecosystem , ensuring they get maximum value from our AI-powered marketing solution. Your goal is to help customers succeed, grow their business, and build long-term partnerships.

We are welcome candidates with different but complementary backgrounds. You might come from a traditional customer success or account management role, or from a digital marketing / performance marketing background. What matters most is that you enjoy working with customers, understand marketing or data, and are motivated to drive measurable results.

You’ll work hands-on with customers, helping them adopt our platform and optimize campaigns. Internally, you will collaborate with design, sales, and product teams to improve both customer outcomes and our solution.

This is a commercial, customer-facing role for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer relationships, technology and performance marketing.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of e-commerce customers, acting as their primary point of contact

  • Lead customer onboarding and ensure a smooth transition from setup to value realization

  • Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and strategic discussions focused on ROI and growth

  • Drive renewals and upsells by identifying opportunities to increase customer value

  • Proactively reduce churn by anticipating risks and addressing challenges early

  • Act as the voice of the customer, collecting and sharing insights with product and internal teams

  • Collaborate closely with our design team to ensure strong campaign execution

  • Handle customer requests and issues efficiently via email, chat, and meetings

  • Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and internal information flow

What we’re looking for

We believe great Customer Success Managers can come from different backgrounds. Most of the points below should describe you, but we are especially interested in candidates who identify with one of the two profiles further down.

You likely have:
  • Customer-oriented mindset and ability to understand customer needs

  • Commercial awareness and interest in growth and value creation

  • Confidence managing multiple customers and priorities

  • Strong communication skills with decision-makers

  • Self-driven and accountable

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

We see two relevant background profiles for this role:

1. Customer Success / Account Management background
Experience managing customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. You may not be a marketing expert yet, but are curious, data-driven, and eager to translate insights into results.

2. Digital Marketing / Performance Marketing background
Hands-on experience with digital marketing or e-commerce. Comfortable discussing performance, ROI, and growth. You may have worked with Shopify, Meta Ads, or Google Ads, and want to grow into a customer-facing, commercial role.
