6-month paid internship with opportunity for full-time role

Start your career in SaaS, e-commerce, and digital marketing

Marketer.com is scaling fast, and we're looking for a Customer Onboarding Intern to join our Customer Success team.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll help new customers get started with our platform after they've signed. You'll be the first person they meet after Sale and the one who ensures onboarding feels smooth, professional, and confidence-building.

This role is ideal for someone with strong customer-facing experience who is curious about e-commerce and digital marketing, and who wants to grow into a more senior Customer Success Manager role over time.

The internship runs for 6 months, with a clear ambition to convert the right candidate into a full-time position with a significant salary increase.

What you'll do

As a Customer Onboarding Intern, your focus is on setting customers up for success from day one.

You will:

• Lead the first onboarding call with new customers after handover from Sales

• Guide customers through connecting Marketer.com to:

• Shopify

• Meta Ads

• Google Ads

• Snapchat Ads

• Understand customer goals, expectations, and initial challenges

• Answer onboarding-related questions and handle simpler issues directly

• Escalate technical or complex needs to senior team members when needed

• Keep customers informed, supported, and confident during setup

• Document onboarding progress, feedback, and open items clearly for the team

You'll work closely with experienced Customer Success Managers and gain hands-on exposure to real e-commerce businesses and paid media setups.

Who we're looking for

This is an entry-level role, but not a passive one. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and learns quickly.

You're likely a good fit if you:

• Are comfortable speaking with customers on calls and video meetings

• Have experience from high-volume customer-facing roles (e.g. hotel reception, hospitality, retail, customer support)

• Communicate clearly and confidently in English (Norwegian is a plus)

• Are structured, reliable, and good at following processes

• Enjoy helping people and solving problems calmly

You also have a genuine interest in:

• E-commerce and online businesses

• Shopify and SaaS tools

• Digital marketing and paid advertising (Meta, Google, Snapchat)

Bonus (not required):

• Experience with Shopify stores

• Exposure to Meta Ads, Google Ads, or analytics tools

• Online courses, side projects, or personal interest in performance marketing

Growth & opportunity

This internship is designed as a launchpad.

During the 6 months, you'll:

• Build strong customer communication skills in a SaaS environment

• Learn how e-commerce marketing works in practice

• Gain platform, product, and industry knowledge

For the right candidate, this role can transition into a full-time Customer Success Manager position, with expanded responsibility and a meaningful increase in compensation.
