Kitchen chef needed for our Café in Lofoten

Want to become part of our FURU summer crew?

We are looking for you who enjoys life to the fullest and is enthusiastic about creating tasty dishes.

As kitchen chef, you will be responsible for cooking our existing dinner menu. Your workshift will be from around 3pm to 11pm.

You would need to be available from mid/end May to end August.

The Café is an integral part of our business and we serve creative, meat, vegetarian and pescatarian dishes. The Café can serve up to 50 guests and you will need to be good in handling multiple orders at once by yourself.

Further, we are looking for you, who...

• has experience of cooking at a small/medium sized restaurant, and understands what it takes to cook as well for larger groups

• has a love for food, meat and vegetarian dishes and knows how to prepare and cook fish

• sees waiters as part of the team and an extension to the kitchen

• can take constructive food critic with a smile and is always open for suggestions

• can tell jokes in English comfortably

• brings positive energy, smiles all day and is excited to whatever comes your way

• sees problems as challenges and continuously is eager to improve our processes

• has a structural approach to work and likes routines that are logic for everyone

• has a go-getter attitude and is a doer rather than a talker
