About the role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Instrument Engineer to contribute to field instrumentation and metering solutions during the FEED phase of major projects. You will play a key role in developing philosophies, strategies, and design solutions, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring that all instrumentation work aligns with relevant standards.

This role may involve work related to studies or FEED for new modules and brownfield modifications on offshore installations or wind projects.

Main responsibilities

• Develop field instrumentation and metering solutions for the FEED phase.
• Prepare philosophies, concepts, and strategies for measurement and instrumentation systems.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation for ITT packages.
• Participate in and facilitate discipline meetings, workshops, and design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and regulatory frameworks (NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, IEC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical College diploma.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within field instrumentation design, measurement principles, and related engineering activities.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and metering design according to NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, and IEC standards.
• Experience from onshore or offshore greenfield projects (FEED or studies).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
• Structured, accurate, and committed to deadlines and quality.
• Proactive with a willingness to seek advice and share knowledge.
• Ex course.
• FSE course.
