Nemko Group AS is looking for a Group Finance Controller to optimize Finance processes by combining IT and finance excellence. The position will be focusing on continuous improvement and efficiency gains by combining business, process and technology. This position is located at the Nemko Headquarters in Lysaker, Norway and part of the Group CFO team reporting to Head of Group Performance, Planning and Controlling

Major Responsibilities and Working Areas

• Drive financial control across the Group, ensuring strong governance, accuracy, and consistency in financial processes
• Lead streamlining and harmonization of finance processes, with a strong focus on automation and digitalization
• Own and continuously improve core finance processes, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Project-to-Cash, and related workflows
• Ensure high-quality master data governance across systems
• Maintain and continuously update the Group Finance Manual
• Oversee system changes and coordinate cross-functional alignment to ensure optimal system effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with Group reporting policies and adherence to local finance and accounting regulations
• Lead implementation of system enhancements and new releases to improve efficiency and maximize system utilization
• Support subsidiaries on finance and group-related matters, ensuring consistency and best practice sharing
• Conduct onsite visits to Local Units to strengthen performance, controls, and process alignment
• Ensure a robust transfer pricing framework, including documentation, compliance, and alignment with OECD guidelines
• Conduct benchmarking analysis to assess company performance against industry standards and peers
• Responsible for preparing accurate and timely monthly financial reporting for internal management and the Board
• Support the forecasting and budgeting processes
• Drive performance follow-up with Local Units, ensuring alignment with targets and timely execution of corrective actions

Qualifications;

Master in business administration with specialization in accounting & audit or Finance/IT

• Experience: 3--5 years in audit (NGAP) or finance controlling
• Profile: Strong digital mindset with a solid understanding of finance processes and workflows
• Mindset: International outlook with the ability to operate effectively in a global environment
• Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is an advantage

Location: Lysaker, Norway.

Some travel will be expected.

Candidates must be resident in Norway.
