Senior Estimator

We are looking for new Senior Estimators to strengthen our Commercial departments in Stavanger, Haugesund and Bergen. You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for our diverse projects in the energy sector. We are seeking someone who enjoys diving into thorough analyses of project requirements and technical specifications. You will join a skilled team in an organization with great career opportunities.

About the position

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in our team by preparing study and execution estimates, updating weight and quantity information, and collecting data from various disciplines to ensure accuracy and completeness in our projects. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise and influence the success of our projects.

Responsibilities and tasks include

• Preparation of study and execution estimates

• Weight and quantity updates

• Data collections from other disciplines

• Change management in contract/project

• Follow-up of estimates, including changes

• Participate in bid preparation

• Participate in client meetings and clarification processes

• Collection of experience data

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in technical or commercial disciplines (Extensive and relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education)

• Min. 2--3 years of experience within estimation and weight updates within the energy sector, or experience as a cost estimator in the construction industry

• Experience from Maintenance and Modifications is an advantage

Personal qualities

• Strong commercial understanding and expertise in the estimation process

• Solid knowledge of contracts and contractual requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English

• Professional, thorough, and detail-oriented approach

• Focused on continuous improvements and digitalization

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Flexible and accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment
