Duties and responsibilities

The Cyber Security Engineer supports the manager of Cyber Security with handling the overall responsibility for digital / cyber security in Vard Electro, focusing on tasks such as:

• Conduct risk assessments and threat models of SeaQ products
• Conduct audits and gap analysis to assess cybersecurity compliance
• Assist and advice product and service department on cybersecurity challenges
• General Cyber Security advisory and support for the rest of the organization
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Vard Electro cybersecurity framework for products
• Write and review cybersecurity documentation
• Train and educate employees in product cybersecurity
• Assess cybersecurity architecture

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education, or other relevant experience.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to main tasks
• Good knowledge of English, oral and written.Experience with cybersecurity architecture
• Knowledge of class society requirements regarding cyber security
• Knowledge of relevant security frameworks and standards
• Knowledge of risk assessments for cybersecurity
