As Reach Subsea continues to grow, we are looking for an Operations Engineer to join our Monitoring team in Bergen.

In this role, you will support the preparation, testing, calibration, maintenance and verification of Monitoring instruments, sensors and mechanical components used in our operations. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Geoscience and R&D, contributing directly to the successful delivery of Monitoring projects both from our Remote Operation Center (ROC) and offshore when required.

You will become part of an innovative and collaborative environment supporting advanced subsea monitoring operations worldwide, where operational reliability, teamwork and continuous improvement are central to the way we work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, maintain and service Monitoring instruments, sensors and mechanical components
  • Contribute to assembly, testing, system integration and final verification of equipment prior to operations
  • Maintain and improve test setups for Monitoring systems and equipment
  • Support shipment logistics, packing and mobilisation activities
  • Participate in surveys as Monitoring Supervisor, Senior Data Logger or Data Logger, either from ROC or offshore
  • Assist during vessel visits, port calls, site calibrations, mobilisation and demobilisation activities
  • Support inventory management for Monitoring equipment and components
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Geoscience and R&D teams, as well as other offices and disciplines across the organisation
  • Assist in maintaining and updating relevant operational documentation
  • Contribute to selected Survey discipline projects when required
Qualifications
  • BSc in Engineering, Electronics, IT or similar
  • Relevant practical experience may compensate for lack of formal education
Skills and Experience
  • Structured, organised and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Independent, proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience with mechanical assembly and precision instrumentation is considered an advantage
  • Practical experience with testing, calibration or maintenance of technical equipment is beneficial
