Join Our Team as an Electrical CAD Designer at Zenitel in Horten

Make a real difference in industries where communication saves lives as an Electrical CAD Designer to our Project Department. Our new Electrical CAD Designer will produce accurate, compliant, and high-quality technical drawings and documentation processes and represents the Zenitel Document Control Centre (DCC).

Key responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and system documentation

• Produce and maintain wiring diagrams, cable lists, and technical drawings

• Support project execution and product development teams

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (NORSOK, Maritime regulations, etc.)

• Maintain structured and high-quality documentation in our systems

• Represent and Manage the Zenitel Document Control Centre (DCC)

• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and system engineers

• Contribute to improving tools, workflows, and design practices

Required qualifications we’re looking for

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• Electrical engineering

• Base engineering education in electronic engineering

Qualifications considered an advantage (but not mandatory):

• Experience from design and engineering of marine related systems

• Knowledge of marine regulations

• Knowledge of telecom/communications systems
