Hovmester – Events

Assistant event manager holds full operational responsibility for event execution on the floor. The role ensures that all events are delivered professionally, executed according to agreed plans, and followed up and closed in line with internal standards and procedures.

  • Experience from event operations or other complex service environments.

Arbeidsoppgaver

Key Responsibilities

Operational Ownership
  • Take full ownership of events from a service and operational perspective.

  • Ensure seamless execution from guest arrival to event completion.

  • Maintain high service standards throughout the entire event.

Event Execution & Flow
  • Execute and follow up on event schedules, including agreed timings, servings, and overall flow.

  • Monitor pacing and adjust proactively when needed.

  • Handle changes decisively in a live event environment.

Leadership & Team Coordination
  • Lead, brief, and coordinate the service team before and during events.

  • Provide clear direction and maintain a strong leadership presence on the floor.

  • Ensure team alignment with service standards and event expectations.

Cross-Department Coordination
  • Act as the main operational link between Front of House, Executive Chef, Head Chef, and Pastry Department.

  • Maintain close communication with MUNCH Production Management during events to ensure a smooth experience for clients and guests.

  • Ensure alignment between kitchen, service, and production throughout execution.

Follow-Up & Administration
  • Provide structured feedback after events to support continuous improvement.

  • Ensure invoicing is completed promptly after the event concludes.

  • Review and follow up on the daily Z-report and verify that figures are accurate and aligned with the event.
