About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Completion Engineer – Authorized Person (Bemyndiget) to join the team in Ørskog or Børdalen. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring electrical safety, compliance, and proper execution of work across electrical, instrumentation, automation, and telecom disciplines. You will act as a key authority within the project, safeguarding safe operations, regulatory compliance, and high-quality execution during project phases.

This is a critical position needing strong technical knowledge, responsibility, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all work is executed in accordance with FSE, FEK, FEF, and NEK EN 50110.
• Verify that personnel involved in electrical, instrumentation, automation, and telecom tasks hold the needed qualifications and certifications.
• Ensure energization, testing, and work on electrical installations comply with FSE and all applicable procedures.
• Implement routines to ensure compliance before first energization of electrical installations.
• Operate and maintain installations according to current regulations and project requirements.

• Coordinate with grid owners and external stakeholders supplying or connecting to the installations, ensuring all contractual demands are met.
• Monitor ongoing work, ensuring it aligns with notifications, specifications, and safety procedures.
• Appoint approved personnel for roles such as LFS (Leader for Safety) and AFA (Authorized for Work) as recommended for each task.

• Report directly to the superior authorized person and inform about irregularities or challenges.
• Escalate critical matters directly to the company’s Operations Manager when necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum Electrician Certificate (Fagbrev) Group L or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and internal procedures.
• Familiarity with PEM (project execution model), willingness to participate in training if needed.
• Ability to manage emergency situations and handle communication routines effectively.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive with strong execution capabilities.
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively across disciplines.
• Motivational, supportive, and able to foster a positive team culture.
• Confident in a coordinating and leadership roles.
• Strong focus on HSE and quality.
• Proficiency level in both English and Norwegian.
