Villa Vågå is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Chef to join the team for the summer season. If you love working with quality ingredients, creating memorable dishes, and being part of a kitchen that values both craftsmanship and guest experience, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Villa Vågå is beautifully located in the centre of Vågå and is part of Classic Norway Hotels. The hotel combines historic charm with modern comfort, offering accommodation, a restaurant, event spaces, and meeting facilities.

We place great emphasis on local ingredients and menus inspired by the region’s rich food culture. Here, you will become part of a dedicated kitchen team focused on quality, creativity, and giving guests a truly special dining experience.

As a Chef at Villa Vågå, you will play an important role in the kitchen and help create exciting dishes based on the best seasonal ingredients. We serve à la carte, set menus for events and groups, and breakfast for our guests.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about flavour, quality, and working in a professional kitchen environment.

• Preparing high-quality dishes with a focus on local produce
• Contributing to menu development and maintaining high standards
• Ensuring the kitchen follows hygiene and food safety procedures
• Working efficiently in a busy kitchen, both independently and as part of a team
• Collaborating closely with waitstaff and other departments to deliver a complete guest experience

• Assignment: From 1 June until the end of August
• Type of role: Seasonal position

We would like to hear from you if you:

• Have a chef’s certificate or relevant experience from a restaurant or hotel kitchen
• Have a strong eye for detail and a genuine passion for good food
• Work in a structured way and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Are familiar with food safety and hygiene routines
• Are a positive team player with good cooperation skills
• Speak good English
• Have previous experience with Norwegian food (preferred)
