At our production facility in Ulsteinvik, we work systematically with Lean principles throughout the supply chain to ensure high delivery precision, strong flow, and continuous improvement.
Purchaser / Production PlannerWe are looking for a structured and operational Purchaser / Production Planner to join our production organization in Ulsteinvik for a temporary position for 12 months. The position is split approximately 60% purchasing and 40% production planning and holds a key role in the supply chain. You will work closely with production, warehouse, project teams, and technical functions, as well as suppliers in the international market.
Key responsibilities; Purchasing-
Operational purchasing of materials and components for production

Follow-up of suppliers in national and international markets

Ensure correct quality, delivery time, and cost

Order placement and delivery follow-up
-
Handling deviations and changes in cooperation with internal stakeholders

Contribute to continuous improvement of purchasing and logistics processes in line with Lean principles

Contribute to development and maintenance of production and capacity plans
-
Ensure alignment between material availability and production sequence
-
Monitor progress and identify risks and bottlenecks
-
Participate in prioritization and mitigation actions during changes

Ensure updated and accurate planning and production data

Education within purchasing, logistics, or similar discipline is desirable but not a requirement. We encourage newly educated with a relevant background to apply

Relevant experience from purchasing, logistics, and/or production planning

Good understanding of ERP systems and supply chain interaction and experience from MS Project
-
Strong Excel skills; experience with MS Project is an advantage

Understanding of and interest in Lean and continuous improvement
-
Fluency in both Norwegian and English

Structured and detail-oriented

Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Thrives in a production-oriented and operational environment
Employment in this position requires that the candidate can obtain security clearance in accordance with applicable security legislation.

The position may be located in Ulsteinvik.
It is a temporary position for 12 months.
