Head of Project Engineering for Maritime \& Energy

To our Business unit Maritime & Energy, we are now looking for a passionate Head of Project Engineering to lead our Engineering Department in Horten.

As head of Project Engineering, you will be responsible for daily operations, management of 11 skilled project engineers, and drive efficiency, quality, and technical solutions within the department.

You will collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure coordination and execution of customer projects while managing departmental budgets and resource allocation.

The position is reporting to Department Manager,, Norway and Croatia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Engineering Department in Horten

• Lead, inspire, and motivate your team

• Support and guide the team in projects and deliveries

• Plan resources and prioritize tasks

• Contribute to efficient ways of working and continuous improvement

• Support competence development and employee growth

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful customer projects

• Contribute to budget and resource planning

Competence requirements:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or other relevant technical areas.

• Extensive and relevant work experience can compensate for lack of education

• Has some leadership experience with people- and line management and wants to grow further in the leadership role.

• Experience with change management is an advantage

• Native level in Norwegian and English, written and oral
