Our vision is to build the world’s most trusted ecosystem for intelligent, directional drilling, and we are looking for a Technical Production & Supply Chain Manager to strengthen our operational backbone as we continue to scale globally.
We develop and deliver advanced downhole products and services for mining and infrastructure projects, drawing on deep technological expertise that also overlaps with solutions traditionally used in oil and gas. Our products are built around machined mechanical components, assembly, testing, and strict quality and traceability requirements. As our global project portfolio expands, so does the need for structured production, disciplined inventory control, and a technical goods flow that delivers the right parts, at the right quality, in the right quantity, at the right time --- wherever in the world they are needed.
As Technical Production & Supply Chain Manager, you will have overall responsibility for our production and supply chain operations, with a particular focus on the Norwegian entity while also driving improvements across our global operations. You will lead four key functions: Assembly & Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement, and Quality Control. Your mandate is to build practical production flow and inventory control, strengthen the dialogue between engineering, workshop, suppliers, and QC, and ensure that our production, sourcing, logistics, and quality systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with the demands of a growing international business.
This is a hands-on leadership role with real operational ownership and a direct line to the executive team.
What you will be doing to make a difference-
Lead and develop the Assembly & Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement, and Quality Control teams
-
Build and run practical production and assembly flow at our Trondheim headquarters --- structuring workshop operations, capacity, and bottleneck management so that output stays synchronized with field demand and project schedules
-
Establish disciplined inventory control and ERP/MRP structure --- master data, BOMs, min/max levels, stock counts, and a reliable link between warehouse, procurement, and the production plan
-
Own the technical goods flow for machined and mechanical components --- working hands-on with drawings, tolerances, material choices, surface treatment, and supplier deviations, and their practical consequences for assembly
-
Be the operational link between engineering, workshop, suppliers, and QC --- turning that dialogue into reliable production
-
Manage procurement and sourcing --- supplier management, contracts, and lead times --- ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and delivery reliability across the end-to-end chain
-
Drive a regional sourcing strategy that positions standard parts and materials close to our global projects to reduce lead times and logistics costs
-
Ensure that all global projects receive the correct parts, in the correct quality and quantity, at the right time --- coordinating closely with Operations Managers across regions and the COO
-
Work closely with the COO and the executive team to align supply chain and production priorities with the company’s commercial and financial objectives
-
Education in mechanical or production engineering, supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field. Experience can compensate for lack of education
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally combining hands-on production or manufacturing with logistics --- proven leadership in a workshop, assembly, or technical production environment
-
Solid technical production understanding --- comfortable with machined and mechanical components, technical drawings, tolerances, material choices, and the dialogue with engineering and suppliers.
-
Experience with CNC is an advantage
-
Strong inventory and warehouse discipline, including master data, BOM structure, and production planning in an ERP/MRP system
-
Solid procurement and sourcing experience, including supplier management, contract negotiation, and global sourcing
-
Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams, with a genuine commitment to people development and a strong coaching mindset
-
Experience with the use, implementation, and continuous improvement of ERP/EAM systems, combined with the ability to establish and embed best practices across the organization
-
Commercial awareness and the ability to connect supply chain and production performance to financial outcomes
-
The authority and decisiveness to set clear priorities and make difficult calls under pressure
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and alignment across functions, regions, and cultures
-
Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The role is based at the company's headquarters in Trondheim. Some travel should be expected in connection with supplier management and coordination of global operations.
Reasons to join our team-
A social and active environment with training facilities and team gatherings
-
A culture built on our core values, where we value innovation, collaboration and exploration
-
A key role in a fast-growing, international technology company with a clear vision and strong market position
-
Direct ownership over how Aziwell's supply chain and production operations scale to support our ambition
-
An exciting, dynamic workplace with talented and ambitious colleagues across four continents
-
Competitive pension and insurance schemes
-
Strong focus on professional and personal development
