Chef Needed ASAP at Tynset Hotell

Tynset Hotell is seeking a dedicated and creative Chef to join our kitchen team immediately. You’ll be working in Tynset Hotell, our welcoming hotel restaurant known for its à la carte menu featuring local Nordic specialties, international dishes, and stone-oven pizzas.

🔪 The Role
  • Full-time position (100%), starting ASAP
  • Typical shifts: 13:00–22:00 or 15:00–22:00
  • Shared tips distributed within the team
  • Staff accommodation available: approx. NOK 3,500 / month

👨‍🍳 Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality dishes in Restaurant Tynset Hotel — from à la carte entrées to pizza and seasonal specials
  • Help develop and execute menu items that highlight local ingredients and creativity
  • Maintain excellent mise en place and service flow
  • Ensure kitchen, storage, and prep areas are clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards
  • Communicate clearly with service, bar, and event teams
  • Support service for lunches, dinners, events, and conference meals
We’re Looking For You If You:
  • Have experience as a chef in a restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Are comfortable with both à la carte and pizza production
  • Work efficiently, with structure and attention to detail
  • Bring a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Speak Norwegian or English fluently
