Chef Needed ASAP at Tynset Hotell

Tynset Hotell is seeking a dedicated and creative Chef to join our kitchen team immediately. You’ll be working in Tynset Hotell, our welcoming hotel restaurant known for its à la carte menu featuring local Nordic specialties, international dishes, and stone-oven pizzas.

🔪 The Role

Full-time position (100%), starting ASAP
Typical shifts: 13:00–22:00 or 15:00–22:00
Shared tips distributed within the team
Staff accommodation available: approx. NOK 3,500 / month

👨‍🍳 Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality dishes in Restaurant Tynset Hotel — from à la carte entrées to pizza and seasonal specials
Help develop and execute menu items that highlight local ingredients and creativity
Maintain excellent mise en place and service flow
Ensure kitchen, storage, and prep areas are clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards
Communicate clearly with service, bar, and event teams
Support service for lunches, dinners, events, and conference meals

We’re Looking For You If You:

Have experience as a chef in a restaurant or hotel kitchen
Are comfortable with both à la carte and pizza production
Work efficiently, with structure and attention to detail
Bring a positive, team-oriented attitude
Speak Norwegian or English fluently
