What you'll be doing:

As Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our marine business, building relationships, identifying opportunities and turning customer needs into successful projects.

Managing key customer accounts and markets within Europe, with opportunities to support customers globally.
Developing and maintaining relationships with shipowners, ship designers, shipyards and strategic partners.
Leading sales opportunities from initial customer dialogue through bidding, negotiation and contract signing.
Representing Bergen Engines at customer meetings, exhibitions and conferences.
Collaborating closely with technical and project teams to deliver the best solutions for our customers.
Taking ownership of a market segment as Segment Lead for the right candidate

Who we're looking for:

We believe the right person is curious, relationship-oriented and motivated by creating results together with others.

A strong combination of technical understanding and commercial awareness.
Preferably experience from sales, business development, marine, energy or related industries.
Technical education from either University or Upper Secondary School. Relevant work experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
The ability to build trust and long-term professional relationships.
A proactive mindset and willingness to travel when needed.
