What you'll be doing:

As Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our marine business, building relationships, identifying opportunities and turning customer needs into successful projects.

  • Managing key customer accounts and markets within Europe, with opportunities to support customers globally.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with shipowners, ship designers, shipyards and strategic partners.
  • Leading sales opportunities from initial customer dialogue through bidding, negotiation and contract signing.
  • Representing Bergen Engines at customer meetings, exhibitions and conferences.
  • Collaborating closely with technical and project teams to deliver the best solutions for our customers.
  • Taking ownership of a market segment as Segment Lead for the right candidate
  Who we're looking for:

We believe the right person is curious, relationship-oriented and motivated by creating results together with others.

  • A strong combination of technical understanding and commercial awareness.
  • Preferably experience from sales, business development, marine, energy or related industries.
  • Technical education from either University or Upper Secondary School. Relevant work experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
  • The ability to build trust and long-term professional relationships.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to travel when needed.
