Join Banqsoft as a System Consultant in Oslo

We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a System Consultant to join and contribute to our Asset Finance team in Oslo.

This is a hybrid role where you’ll work at the intersection of business, technology, and regulation, delivering solutions that support credit processes and customer onboarding (Credit Scoring, AML, KYC) for both new and existing clients.

You’ll work closely with clients across digital banking, leasing, and asset finance, acting as a trusted advisor in how they onboard customers, manage risk, and continuously improve their credit processes.

As part of our Asset Finance team, you'll help businesses unlock growth by providing innovative financing solutions for essential assets like vehicles and equipment.

What does the role look like?

• Participating in client dialogues and workshops to understand needs and translate them into robust, future-proof solutions

• Working on projects involving client deliveries, product development, analysis, specifications, and testing

• Participating in the full solution lifecycle: analysis, design, configuration, technical implementation, testing, and deployment

• Collaborating closely with internal product and technology teams to continuously evolve and improve Banqsoft’s offerings

• Contributing to digitalisation and automation of credit and onboarding processes, including exploring how data-driven and AI-supported solutions can improve quality, efficiency, and compliance

• Taking responsibility and ownership in projects, with room to influence both solutions and ways of working

Are we a great match? What you’ll bring to the table Required:

• A few years of relevant experience from consulting, banking, asset finance, or system-related roles

• Fluent in English and Norwegian, written and spoken

• Strong analytical skills and a structured, proactive approach to problem solving

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

It’s great if you have (but not a must!):

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field

• Solid understanding of financial products and processes

• Experience working with data, database schemas, SQL, or APIs (XML/JSON)

• Curiosity and interest in digitalisation, automation, and innovation

• Interest in the credit process and AML/KYC domain

• Good theoretical insight and software development skills (e.g. C#)

• Understanding of customer needs and business processes in asset finance

• Interest in how AI and advanced analytics can support credit decisioning and customer onboarding (experience is a plus, not a requirement)
