Frontend developer

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer who thrives in a startup environment — someone who ships fast, cares about the business, and wants to build products that matter. As a developer here you’ll work primarily on the Mia Health app — our main product — along with the web tools and services that support it.

Mia Health is built for individuals who want to change their lifestyle on their own terms. Some do it independently, others bring along friends and family, or take part through a workplace program with their colleagues. When extra guidance is needed, healthcare professionals can step in with temporary support. The common thread is always the same: empowering people to find the right activity for better health — less guesswork, more impact.

What you’ll do

•       Build clean, accessible interfaces across our Flutter app, Angular webapp, and Next.js websites.

•       Contributing on the backend is expected — you should be comfortable working across the stack, not only in the frontend

•       Total responsibility for your assignments — understand the requirements fully, plan deliverables, set timelines, and keep stakeholders aligned

•       Break down requirements with product and design, and translate them into clear deliverables

•       Track progress, unblock teammates, and communicate status to leadership

•       Own features end-to-end — from idea and scoping to production and follow-up

What we’re looking for

•       Solid skills in modern frontend frameworks and tooling — Flutter/Dart, Angular, Next.js, TypeScript, or similar. We care more about what you can do than how many years you’ve been doing it

•       Comfortable with project work — planning, prioritisation, and clear communication with non-technical colleagues

•       Comfortable with tools like Jira, Linear, or similar for tracking and reporting

•       Strong eye for usability, accessibility, and craft

•       Backend experience or a strong willingness to work across the full stack — ideally with Node.js/Nest.js or similar

•       A team-first, supportive mindset and the energy to thrive in a startup where things move fast

•       You understand the business needs and want to build products, not just write code

Our tech stack

•       Dart / Flutter for our mobile app, including integrations with Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect

•       Angular for the webapp used by corporate customers

•       Next.js on Vercel for our website, admin tools, and other web views

•       Nest.js, Firebase Cloud Messaging, our chat service, and a Postgres database

•       Lambdas, SQS, DynamoDB, EventBridge / EventBus
