Environment Advisor

Petrolink Support is looking for an experienced Environment Advisor to follow-up of relevant government applications and permits related to drilling and development activities for our client in Stavanger.

Contract location: Stavanger, Norway.

Tasks

Typical work tasks will be

• Responsible for follow-up of relevant government applications and permits related to drilling and development activities

• Contribute to relevant risk- and chemical assessments

• Support project activities within approved frameworks and concepts

• Support in government correspondence

• Provide consulting in energy management and emission reduction

• Responsible for internal/external follow-up and reporting of relevant environmental parameters

• Ensure the follow-up and exercise of duty of care in relation to suppliers and rig owners

Qualifications

We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:

• Requires relevant higher university degree

• Requires typically 5-10 years relevant experience

• Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards

• Requires extensive experience related to development of environmental impact assessments

• The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, Company’s needs and general business conditions

• Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language
