Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager/Study Manager to lead studies within a VEM (Value Engineering and Modification) portfolio. The role needs strong multidisciplinary understanding, leadership skills, and the ability to guide study teams toward high-quality, timely deliverables. You will collaborate closely with engineering disciplines, project management, and key stakeholders to ensure efficient execution and well-founded study results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage study work within a VEM portfolio.
• Coordinate and guide multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure high-quality study deliverables that meet project standards, deadlines, and standards.
• Facilitate communication across disciplines and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Maintain systematic and accurate work processes throughout the study phase.
• Seek and provide guidance, share knowledge, and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience from the oil and gas industry.
• Background in one or more technical engineering disciplines.
• Experience with study work.
• Leadership experience and the ability to manage study teams effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in working with people.
• Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English (oral and written).
• Strong collaboration abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Solid multidisciplinary understanding.
• Structured and detail-oriented work approach.
• High commitment to deadlines and quality.
• Willingness to seek advice and share knowledge within the team.
