Role Purpose:
The role will be reporting to Contract Manager and be part of the team that handle the Frame Agreement portfolio in Supply Chain Management. The SCM organisation in Odfjell is global, and consists of approx 80 people, working across all business areas in Odfjell Drilling, Technology and Oceanwind. The role is located in Bergen, but some travel might be necessary.
- Be responsible for strategy development, running tender process, execute negotiations and agreement awards for Frame Agreements
- Do active supplier and contract management for relevant suppliers in portfolio
- Work closely together with other disciplines and business units to meet customer requirements
- Identify opportunities for operational and digital excellence, with focus on cost saving
- Actively contribute to a competitive agreement portfolio
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (MSc/BSc) in relevant discipline or documented extensive experience in the field
- Experience from offshore oil & gas industry with SCM, or relevant technical or support disciplines
- Supplier market knowledge
- Knowledge of the offshore drilling / oil industry
- Basic Negotiation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work systematically
- Analytical and digital skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements
- Good knowledge of IT tools and systems within area of responsibility
- Good knowledge of English, both written and oral, including excellent presentation skills
