We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher, who is willing to work both Onshore (often placed within the Client's organisation) and also Offshore when needed.

Main working tasks will be: Helibooking services, Flight & POB (Personnel on board) planning onshore and offshore

Duties and responsibilities

  • Scope of Work:

  • Helibooking services, flight & POB (Personnel on board) planning onshore and offshore.

    Onshore:
    • Helicopter booking - maintain all fixed rotations and ad-hoc bookings to/from installations
    • Ensure that all passengers hold the required courses for travelling offshore or has a granted dispensation according to the procedures
    • Maintain an effective helicopter schedule based upon POB activities
    • POB planning ensuring a constantly updated overview of personnel requirement related to the various activities offshore
    • Bed and emergency planning
    • Validation of Dawinci user id’s and review of Dawinci access as requested
    • Monitor and assist in securing compliance with requirements for manning of emergency teams, first aid etc. for any offshore installation and/or vessels
    • Assist in Call-out of contractors for Operations and Drilling activities
    • Prepare POB Statistics for controllers and various reports
    • Prepare relevant Aviation KPI’s
    • Assist in cost control as required, i.e. accruals and goods received control
    • Prepare documents for invoicing of billable to third parties
    • Must at all-time have good knowledge of Operations Logistics Procedure and associated Norwegian Oil and Gas Guidelines
    • Assist in the development process of Dawinci as a working tool
    • Use of Kabal POB module

    Offshore:
    • Radio communications linked to helicopter operations
    • Check-in/out passengers and weather reporting for helicopter operations
    • Preparing helicopter manifest
    • Allocation of bed and emergency team roles
    • Emergency Team participation

Qualifications

  • Personnel shall hold necessary professional qualifications and certificates which satisfy Norwegian legislation where mandatory.
  • Relevant experience of helicopter and personnel scheduling, bed and emergency team planning
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations
  • Knowledge of offshore logistics requirements
  • Super User of Dawinci for on & offshore support
  • Preferred knowledge of Kabal
  • Ability to develop and steward aviation KPI to monitor operations performance
  • Understanding of CAPEX verses OPEX cost expenditure
  • NOROG 003 and 074 knowledge
  • Working environment (AML) course
  • Emergency preparedness management training
  • Valid GSK course
  • Valid ROC certificate
  • Valid METAR certificate
  • Valid offshore health certificate

Personal qualities

  • High level of co-ordination & communications skills
  • Personnel must be able to communicate in an acceptable manner in at least one Scandinavian language and in English.
  • Structured and dependable
