As a Service Technician, you will be part of the only workshop globally that services and repairs this type of advanced downhole technology. Here you can put your mechanical expertise to use on equipment that combines mechanics, hydraulics, and electronics. You will work hands-on with innovative tools, where precision, safety, and quality are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Service, repair, and assemble downhole tools and related equipment

• Prepare equipment for inspection, evaluation, and disassemble and assemble activities

• Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic. mechanical and electronic components

• Assist with sensor checks, calibration, and electronic component handling as required

• Perform general workshop duties, including tool cleaning and maintenance activities

• Ensure safe operations by following company HSE standards, 5S principles, and safety routines

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within workshop processes and operations

Qualifications & Skills: Essential Qualifications:

• Forklift certification (T1, T4) and/or overhead crane certification (G4)

• Background in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, or industrial service

• Solid hands-on experience with repair and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, or electromechanical systems

• Ability to read, understand, and follow technical instructions and procedures

• Good IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with drilling equipment

• Knowledge of electronics and sensor calibration

• Fluent in Norwegian, written and spoken
