**As a HESS Director at Nammo,**you will report directly to the VP HESS and be part of the Group HESS leadership team, providing strategic leadership within your area of responsibility and contributing to the continued development of Health, Environment, Safety and Security across the Group. You will drive the implementation of HESS strategies, governance and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a strong HESS culture and organizational learning. Working closely with business leaders, site teams and key stakeholders, you will build trust and collaborate across organizational boundaries to translate Group ambitions into practical improvements and lasting results.

**As HESS Director Security & Business Continuity,**you will serve as Nammo Group's strategic lead for security, emergency preparedness and business continuity. Working closely with sites, business units and corporate functions, you will strengthen organizational resilience, develop Group security and business continuity standards, and support their implementation across Nammo's European operations.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop, maintain and implement Nammo Group's Security and Business Continuity policies, directives and governance documentation.
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of Nammo Group's security and business continuity framework.
  • Develop and maintain Nammo Group's Business Continuity Plan, aligned with recognised standards such as ISO 22301.
  • Lead security risk assessments, emergency preparedness and contingency planning across the Group.
  • Develop and improve crisis management processes, emergency preparedness and contingency response capabilities.
  • Plan, coordinate and conduct tabletop exercises and internal audits within Security and Business Continuity.
  • Develop organisational capability in Security, Emergency Preparedness, Crisis Management and Business Continuity in collaboration with Learning & Development.
  • Support sites in identifying, preventing and reducing business disruption risks.
  • Build strong relationships with IT, Corporate functions and site HESS teams to strengthen security, resilience and business continuity across the Group.
  • We believe you bring To succeed in this role, you will likely have:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline. Relevant professional experience may compensate for formal education.

    • Minimum five years of experience within security, business continuity, HSE, quality, manufacturing or continuous improvement, preferably in an international industrial environment.

    • Experience working with management systems and internationally recognised standards, such as ISO 22301 and other relevant ISO standards.

    • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

    Experience from one or more of the following areas will be an advantage:
    • Defence, manufacturing or other highly regulated industries.

    • Law enforcement, intelligence, corporate security, crisis management or business continuity.

    • Energetic materials and process safety.

    • Project management.

    • Internal or external auditing.

    • Working across multiple countries and cultures.

    Location and travel
    The role involves regular travel across Nammo's European operations, with occasional travel to the US. For practical reasons, we expect you to be based in one of the Nordic countries or the UK, within convenient travelling distance of both an international airport and a Nammo site. Other European locations might be considered

    Security Clearance
    Please note that this position requires you to be eligible for a Norwegian/NATO security clearance and to provide a valid police certificate.
