HSSEQ Manager \| Golar LNG

We are growing and Golar LNG is seeking a skilledHSSEQ Manager to oversee Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality (HSSEQ) in our FLNG operations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, promoting safety culture, and driving continuous improvement within our offshore operations.

The role is initially part of the pre-ops team for the MK II FLNG project to set up the FLNG with requirements for operations. The position will continue in supporting the FLNG in operation after the FLNG enters commercial operation.

Key responsibilities:

• Foster a proactive safety culture in alignment with company objectives for a multi-cultural team.

• Provide expert HSSEQ guidance in pre-ops activities on the construction site as well as in country of operation

• Active contribution to safety culture development for offshore and onshore operations teams

• Conduct audits, inspections, and investigations to identify improvement opportunities

• Lead risk assessments and barrier management studies

• Support with performance standard development

• Act as Golar FLNG’s operational representative to Flag States and Classification Societies

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an offshore HSSEQ management role, ideally in FPSO or FLNG operations

• Engineering education, preferable with knowledge of FLNG technical systems and risk management

• Strong maritime or offshore operational and leadership background preferred

• Fluent written and spoken English

• Relevant qualifications in CSO, DPA, QA Lead Auditing, Investigation, and Emergency Response
