Process Engineer with Simulation and Design Expertise

Job Description

• Perform advanced process simulations using UniSim Design, including steady-state modeling, case studies, and optimization
• Build, modify, and validate simulation models tailored to project needs
• Demonstrate technical competence in key process systems, including:
  • Inlet arrangements (e.g., choke valves, inlet coolers/heaters, sand handling)
  • Three-phase separators and separation technology
  • Gas compression systems
  • Pumps and rotating equipment
  • Instrumentation for process control and safety
• Develop and review:
  • Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
  • Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Control philosophies
  • Process datasheets
• Perform equipment sizing for pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and separators
• Conduct hydraulic calculations and line sizing according to industry standards
• Perform valve sizing (control, safety, and manual valves)
• Apply industry standards such as API, ISO, NORSOK, and utilize typical engineering tools and documentation systems used in project execution
• Work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and oral

Qualification Requirements

• BSc or MSc in relevant engineering discipline

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a process engineer

• No specific certifications required

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Open disclosure from suppliers and candidates regarding any affiliations to high-risk countries may be required for security assessment
