You will be part of our expedition team and live on board our 70 foot fishing boat for the entire working period. The boat will serve as our home for 10-12 weeks (beginning of October to the end of December). We use a smaller boat on day trips. Each tour will have 8 guests that will also live on the fishing boat.

You will help rig boats for the trip, with what is required of lifting and carrying, stacking and stowing and transporting equipment and food, among other things.

You will be involved in transporting a smaller boat (RIB 35 feet) from home port to expedition port, either by car and trailer, or at sea. You must therefore have a certificate for a car with trailer (equivalent to Norwegian BE, valid in Norway) or a boating licence. It is desirable to have both. You must have experience of driving such a boat, preferably in the Lofoten - Alta area, as you will be alone in driving it at times.

You will communicate with guests before, during and after each trip, both verbally and in writing. Communication takes place in English. You must be fluent in written and spoken English

You will be responsible for adapting snorkel/freediving equipment to the guests, as well as responsible for training in the use of this equipment.

You have to manage cold temperatures for long periods of time. We will give priority to those who have experience (preferably more than five seasons) from similar conditions

You must have certification in freediving/snorkeling/diving, and experience with snorkeling in arctic waters.

You must have good educational qualifications for training guests in the use of snorkelling equipment, as well as introducing safety in the water.

You must be a good photographer and you must be able to teach how to use a camera both above and under water, as well as photo editing.

You must not be claustrophobic, as there are small cabins and tight spaces on board.
