This role is based in our Stavanger, Norway Hub. Applicants must be resident in Stavanger, Norway and be eligible to work in Norway in accordance with Norwegian employment regulations. Job Description

• Manage financial reporting and analysis, including monthly close process, preparation of financial statements, and variance analysis.

• Provide timely and accurate financial information to management, business units, and department managers.

• Support budget managers and internal customers with account coding, transaction research, and additional analysis as needed.

• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments of company purchases and adherence to purchasing policies.

• Manage payroll-related tasks, including support to payroll service provider and timely payments of all payroll-related obligations.

• Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT, corporate tax, and annual accounts.

• Support business units with accounts receivable analysis, credit collection, inventory control, and profit calculations for tender biddings and sales contracts.

• Participate in the annual financial audit by preparing supporting schedules and providing additional information as required.

• Manage daily cash transactions, prepare and post entries, report cash requirements, and process authorized banking transactions.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as US and Norwegian GAAP.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) and a min of two years' experience in similar position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required licenses, education and knowledge:

• Proficient in the use of VISMA Business / VISMA Next

• Computer literacy, analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail.

• Good written/verbal/interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and knowledge of US- and Norwegian GAAP.

• Experience with various accounting software.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Fluent in English and Norwegian (any other language knowledge is a plus).
