We are looking for a Systems Engineer with an interest in Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and System Safety to help ensure our systems are safe, reliable, and mission ready throughout their entire lifecycle. The role combines systems engineering, lifecycle support, and safety work in challenging projects within the defence and safety-critical domain.

Your responsibilities Systems Engineering
  • Develop and manage system requirements throughout the V-model

  • Define system architecture, interfaces, and integration activities

  • Plan and support verification and validation

  • Work closely with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams

Integrated Logistic Support (ILS)
  • Define and drive the ILS strategy across the system lifecycle

  • Perform LSA activities such as FMECA, RCM, and LORA

  • Develop maintenance and support concepts

  • Contribute to technical documentation, spares, tools, and training

  • Monitor key metrics such as availability, MTBF, and MTTR

System Safety & RAMS
  • Perform safety and hazard analyses and maintain hazard logs and safety cases

  • Conduct RAMS and reliability analyses

  • Support design reviews, audits, and certifications

  • Contribute to bids, technical documentation, and project deliveries

Qualifications
  • BSc or MSc in Systems Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field

  • Experience as a Systems Engineer, preferably with ILS, safety, or safety-critical systems

  • Knowledge of LSA methods and system safety principles

  • Ability to communicate technical topics clearly

Nice to have
  • Experience with S-series standards (S1000D, S2000M, S3000L)

  • RAMS or reliability tools, MBSE/SysML

  • Background from defence, aerospace, maritime, energy, or other safety-critical industries
