This is a unique opportunity for Onsite Service Engineer to join our established Proton Therapy (PT) Service Team, onsite at Oslo University Hospital - Radiumhospitalet.

This is a replacement role within our established PT Team.

The Role

You will help support the smooth operation of the Proton Therapy System, an advanced form of cancer treatment technology that uses a particle accelerator to precisely target tumours, while protecting healthy tissue.

Flexibility with shift working hours is required to ensure availability of proton therapy equipment during clinical hours within a collaborative onsite team.

Your Role:
  • Support and maintain high-tech medical equipment in a live clinical environment.

  • Performing Preventative Maintenance and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Work hands-on with mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical systems.

  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and help keep equipment running during clinical hours

Your Experience:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Technician qualification

  • Mechanical skills (e.g. vacuum pumps or electric motors).

  • Knowledge of electronic/electro-mechanical equipment preferable.

  • Fluent English language skills (both written and spoken) essential.

  • Fluency in Scandinavian language is a plus.
