This is a front‑row seat to enterprise strategy at scale, partnering with Wallenius Wilhelmsen's Global Executive Management Team and Board to set direction and drive execution across a global logistics leader. You’ll own the most critical strategic questions facing the business, translate insight into action, and build a high‑performing strategy team with real influence across a complex, global organization.

The role will be a part of our Corporate Strategy team.
About the role
As a Senior Manager in Corporate Strategy, you will operate at the intersection of strategy formulation and execution. You will work directly with the Global Executive Management Team (GEM), Board of Directors, and senior leaders across the business to shape long‑term direction, drive enterprise‑wide initiatives, and ensure strategy is translated into measurable results.
This role combines deep strategic problem‑solving, executive‑level influence, and people leadership, offering a clear pathway to broader enterprise leadership roles over time.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with the Global Executive Management Team and Board of Directors to identify, shape, and execute the company’s most critical strategic priorities

Lead complex, enterprise‑wide strategic initiatives end‑to‑end, from problem definition and project scoping through execution and value realization

Frame and structure ambiguous, high‑impact strategic questions into clear, logical approaches that drive decision‑making

Set the analytical standard by guiding, coaching, and quality‑assuring conceptual and quantitative analyses delivered by analysts and specialists

Synthesize insights into clear, compelling recommendations and present them confidently to GEM and the Board

Own the enterprise strategy execution rhythm, including Business Unit, Functional Unit, and executive‑level reviews

Enable strategy execution across the organization by supporting Business Units and Functions in setting ambitious OKRs aligned to strategic priorities

Engage externally with investors, industry bodies, and other stakeholders as required

Build, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing global strategy team, creating a strong pipeline of future leaders
Your Qualifications & Background

Bachelors or Masters degree
-
6+ years of relevant experience in enterprise strategy and related fields e.g., corporate development, M&A etc.

Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives in global organizations

Demonstrated people leadership and team‑development capability

Strong conceptual and analytical problem‑solving skills, with the ability to move from insight to action

Exceptional communication skills, including confidence presenting to executive leadership and Boards
-
Demonstrated ability to influence C‑suite decisions and align diverse stakeholders around a common direction
-
Exposure to shipping, logistics, or supply‑chain trends is an advantage, but not essential
