Vard Brattvåg is looking HSEQ Coordinator (Temporary Position).

The HSEQ Coordinator will be based in Brattvåg, but will be part of Vard’s HSEQ team, where close collaboration across Vard locations is encouraged.
As HSEQ Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting HSE and quality work at the yard. You will be involved in a wide range of activities and work closely with employees, managers and other stakeholders.
Building strong relationships across the organization is key to success in this role.

So – what are your skills? 


Duties and responsibilities

  • Proactively contribute to the further development of a safe and healthy working environment at the yard and within the Vard Group
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with HSE and environmental regulations at the yard and on board vessels
  • Participate in training and attitude‑building initiatives among employees and subcontractors
  • Participate in and follow up on internal and external audits related to HSE, environment and quality
  • Register and follow up on injuries, incidents, near misses and quality cases
  • Develop positive relationships with managers, employees, contractors, customers and other stakeholders, with a shared goal of promoting a strong HSE and quality culture

Qualifications

  • Higher education within relevant field (HSE, quality, engineering or similar) is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English
  • Ability to work proactively and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience from the industrial sector is an advantage
  • Work experience within HSE and/or quality management is an advantage
  • Good Norwegian and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good cultural understanding and ability to facilitate teamwork
