Within our group, we have a technical department/centre of excellence providing product specialists for each dedicated technology.

Our customers are within the global Maritime and Offshore segment and within the Industry & Property segment in our countries of operations. Our products, systems and technical solutions specialize in the production and treatment of water and wastewater within multiple branches and segments. As one of our Bid and Proposal Engineers, you will develop tailored, high-quality quotations for customers across the global offshore and maritime markets. You will be part of a dynamic Bid Team where technical expertise, collaboration, and precision are essential to securing new business opportunities.

As a Bid and Proposal Engineer, you are a central contributor in transforming customer requirements into technical solutions. You ensure that accurate and relevant technical information is evaluated and integrated throughout the quotation phase. Working closely with the Tender Manager and dedicated technical resources, you play a key role in both ongoing and new bidding projects.

You are responsible for the technical solution in the quotation phase. This includes:

• Acting as the primary technical resource within the Bid Team, providing expertise related to regulations, functionality, and the technology offered by Enwa Water Technology.
• Contributing to technical descriptions in tender documents.
• Preparing drawings and sketches such as Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), and 3D models. Experience with Inventor and AutoCAD is considered an advantage.
• Preparing required quotation documentation, including SPIR (Spare Part Lists), EPMS (Project Plans), datasheets, and other relevant technical documents.
• Engaging in technical dialogue with sub-suppliers to obtain the necessary documentation and ensure correct component and system descriptions.
• Collaborating with our technical department to clarify technical matters arising during the quotation process.
• Coordinating with the production team regarding capacity and estimating timelines for assembly.
• Participating in technical clarification meetings with customers and sub-suppliers.
• Performing cost estimations for budget quotations to support the Sales department in developing new customer relationships and securing vendor list positions for upcoming projects.
• Participating in handover meetings to ensure a smooth transition from quotation to project execution.

The position can be based at our offices in Sandefjord, Stavanger, or Vikedal. The Bid Team collaborates closely with sales colleagues across our locations in Sandefjord, Stavanger, Vikedal, and Gothenburg, and some travel between Enwa offices should therefore be expected. Flexible home office arrangements are available when appropriate.

You will also represent Enwa Water Technology at exhibitions and trade fairs, strengthening supplier relationships and staying at the forefront of new components and technological developments within the industry.

• Strong written and verbal English skills are required, as English is widely used in tendering, documentation, emails, and meetings. Understanding one of the Scandinavian languages is considered an advantage.
• Technical education within process, mechanical, or electrical/automation engineering.
• Experience from the maritime and offshore sector, including knowledge of relevant technical standards and requirements.
