We are seeking experienced Principal Engineers, who will strengthen our Technical Safety department by contributing broad expertise across studies, FEED, and EPC phases. You will play a key part in ensuring that safety requirements are integrated in design solutions, supporting projects within Field Development & Offshore Wind as well as other business areas when needed. You may be assigned to the role of Technical Safety Lead when needed, which requires a comprehensive understanding of technical safety principles within the different fields.

About the position
You will develop technical safety strategies and solutions to the required level of detail across various project phases, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements. You will work in multidisciplinary teams, participating in workshops and reviews to ensure that technical safety requirements are integrated into the overall design while contributing to timely project delivery. Your responsibilities will include preparing and refining technical safety philosophies, performing area classification, and conducting escape and evacuation assessments. You may also be responsible for developing passive and active fire protection solutions, as well as supporting design and verification activities related to Fire & Gas detection system and emergency shutdown systems (F&G/ESD).

Qualifications
  • MSc or BSc within relevant fields

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience and competence

  • Knowledge of rules and regulations governing technical safety in design
