Work Prep Engineer

We are looking for Work Prep Engineer Pnr: 6001248 Job Description:

• Work Order Preparation: Based on information provided in engineering work packs (EWP), the Work Prep Engineer shall develop and maintain detailed work orders in PIMS PES, including, but not limited to, man-hour (MHR) estimates, drawings, procedures, and material lists (MTO).
• Interface Management: Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure all prerequisites are met prior to job execution.
• Quality & HSSE Compliance: Review safety aspects of planned work, identify risks, and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements and project implementation models.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and contribute to lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Technical education (vocational or engineering degree) with a relevant trade certificate or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the oil & gas industry or a related industry, preferably within construction or commissioning.
• Familiarity with MC and commissioning completion processes and digital tools (e.g., PIMS CMS/PIMS PES).
• Must have experience with PIMS and Work Prep in PIMS
• Must be able to create WOs in Norwegian
• Strong understanding of drawings (P&IDs, ISO) and the ability to interpret technical documentation.
• Fluent in Norwegian, with a good command of English, both written and spoken
