Team leader Clean/NDT

Ready to lead a skilled NDT and Clean team in one of the most exciting corners of the aviation and technology world? We are looking for a Team leader Clean/NDT who enjoys combining hands-on technical work with people leadership, structure, and quality.

About The Role

As Team leader Clean/NDT you will be responsible for leading a team that works with NDT inspection and cleaning processes on advanced aviation components. You balance planning and coordination with joining the team on the floor when needed.

You will:

• Lead the daily operations within Clean and NDT to secure safe, high-quality inspections
• Plan resources, shifts, and workload together with other leaders and planners
• Participate operationally in NDT inspection when required
• Own and follow up procedures, quality standards, and continuous improvement activities
• Coach, support, and develop team members through regular 1:1s and competence plans

What You Bring

You are structured, curious, and calm under pressure – and you like working closely with people and technology.

We believe you have:

• Relevant certificate of apprenticeship and/or higher education within NDT or Aircraft Maintenance
• Minimum 5 years of experience within NDT inspection, preferably in aviation or similar industries
• Several years of practical experience from a similar operational environment or team lead role
• Solid understanding of NDT processes, working methods and strict quality requirements
• Experience in leading, developing, and motivating employees
• Proven ability to work systematically with training plans, competence mapping and development paths
• Strong training and coaching skills, and the ability to explain complex topics in a simple way
• Good English skills, verbal and written
