We are hiring two R&D Engineers to join our growing technology team: one senior profile and one early‑career engineer. Whether you bring solid industry experience or are ready to take your next career step, this is an opportunity to work with advanced ocean‑technology products used worldwide.

We are now entering an exciting phase where we build on our proven track record of developing state‑of‑the‑art solutions to real‑world problems, with new functionality and new markets ahead. To join us on this journey, we are seeking two R&D Engineers to strengthen our technology development efforts. Both experienced seniors and eager learners are welcome on our team.
You will work onOur R&D team covers several technical areas, and you will contribute to some of these, depending on your background and interests.
New Functionality Development-
Design and implement new functionality for our established products, in close contact with our customers and project team.

Influence architecture and strategic technology choices to ensure our technology continues to lead the way within an exciting range of real‑world applications.

Develop software for object detection and tracking --- on land, at sea, and even underwater.

Identify new functionality for domains such as research, aquaculture, subsea operations, and environmental monitoring.

Develop and improve our state‑of‑the‑art control systems for Active Heave Compensation, including our in‑house developed Motion Reference Unit, which today is operating on over 300 vessels worldwide.

Engage with operators and managers, join in‑field operations, and experience Scantrol technology in action first‑hand.

Learn from our customers and bring back insights to further improve our technology.

Contribute to product and technology roadmaps.

Assess technical requirements for new market segments.

Optional: Take responsibility for a technical focus area or small team.

Optional: Support knowledge sharing and internal competence development.
Master’s degree in Cybernetics, Automation, Electronics, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or similar fields.
ExperienceExperience or special interest within one or more of the following:

AI / Machine Learning or Computer Vision

Sensors and real‑time control systems
-
Embedded systems, microcontrollers, and industrial real‑time computing

Algorithm development and data processing
-
Maritime or operational technology (advantage)
Keen interest in R&D and technology, and a strong ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams.
Analytical, independent, and responsible --- organized and motivated by delivering high‑quality products that exceed customer expectations.
