As a Senior Instrument Engineer, you will take responsibility for instrumentation design and follow‑up throughout study and execution phases. In this role, you will be involved in developing technical solutions, preparing key engineering documents, following up equipment packages, and collaborating closely with suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.

About the position

In this role, you will work with technical follow‑up of instrumentation, including preparation of technical requisitions, review of vendor documentation and identification of information needs for the project. You will contribute to designing solutions that meet customer requirements, ensure quality in technical deliverables, and participate in FAT and other test activities. The position requires close collaboration with other engineering disciplines, suppliers and customers to secure efficient interfaces and high‑quality project execution.

Qualifications
  • Technical vocational school, Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in relevant field
  • Trade certificate is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with instrumentation design, vendor follow‑up or similar tasks
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and oral (Norwegian is an advantage)
