Technical Services (TS) is one of four business areas in Wood Norway ---and the one setting the pace for our future. We’re expanding into new markets, developing cutting‑edge services, and driving the technologies that will shape tomorrow’s energy systems.

At TS, you’ll work at the intersection of engineering excellence and digital innovation. Our organization is built around two platforms, Markets and Services, covering four dynamic areas where graduates can make a real impact:

Markets
  • Marine-- Supporting floating production, drilling, ports and terminals

  • Low Carbon Solutions -- Enabling CCS and CO₂ management, alternative fuels and bioenergy

Services
  • Digital Services -- Digitalization and system integration, data management, 3D visualization and scanning, digital twins and LCI services

  • Engineering Services -- High‑value operations and maintenance services, performance monitoring and maintenance optimisation, and highly-skilled engineering

Across everything we do, digitalization and AI transformation acts as our cross‑cutting engine --- supercharging each platform and area to create smarter, cleaner, and more efficient solutions for our clients and the energy transition.

Joining us means stepping into a place where curiosity is encouraged, ideas matter, and your contribution helps build a more sustainable future.

Ready to shape what comes next?

Digital Graduate

The energy industry is changing fast, and we’re changing with it. AI, automation and advanced digital technologies are opening new possibilities every day. At Wood, we’re looking for digital minds who are genuinely curious about how technology can solve real engineering and operational challenges.

If you’re early in your career and excited about where digitalization and engineering meet, this could be the start you’re looking for.

What you’ll do
  • Work hands-on with in-house digital and AI applications

  • Help transform technical needs into practical, scalable digital solutions

  • Contribute ideas, prototypes, and new ways of thinking that push us forward

  • Support on a spectrum of advisory, digital and engineering projects

What you’ll get
  • A genuinely supportive environment where we want you to succeed

  • Mentoring, guidance, and clear opportunities to grow, combined with access to Wood’s national and global graduate programmes

  • A front‑row seat in shaping digital development in a new and ambitious business area

  • Newly refurbished office facilities, including a canteen and a gym

  • A social work environment with activities throughout the year, from celebrations and sports events to informal gatherings and team initiatives

What you bring
  • Higher education in cybernetics, computer science, automation, AI or similar

  • Curiosity about applying technology in real-world engineering environments

  • A desire to experiment, learn, and turn complex problems into simple solutions

  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn fast

The position has a planned start date of 1 September 2026. The role will be based primarily at our Sandefjord office, but we may also consider Oslo or Porsgrunn for the right candidate. How to apply?

Skip the cover letter. Just send us your CV and a link to a short video (up to two minutes) showing something you’ve created with AI or digital tech. It can be anything--- a class project, a weekend experiment, a simple script, a model, or a tool you built.

We’re not looking for perfection. We’re looking for how you think and innovate.
