Operations Engineer - Tools & Downhole Equipment

Do you have experience from downhole operations and want to join a team delivering the latest technology within tools and downhole equipment?

As an Operation Engineer, you will combine your technical knowledge with sales skillsand become part of a team in continuous development. Through close collaboration with our customers, you will contribute to finding smarter solutions and innovative ways to combine our products for more efficient and cost-effective deliveries.

Through regular customer visits your contact will be with technical, operational staff and procurement predominantly from Oil & Gas operator companies. Together with the team you will attend exhibitions and other sales events, also connecting with both existing and new customers. Communication is key in this position, as you will explain and demonstrate the value of our products and services to customers. You will also be responsible for managing the delivery process from initial promotion or inquiry through to invoicing and payment.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Plan and follow up well operations.
• Participate in tender process and calculating client quotations.
• Negotiate and close sales agreements.
• Analyze sales costs and determine gross margins.
• Maintain and update client data and sales activities in relevant systems
• Provide regular revenue forecasts

Qualifications:

• Certificate of apprenticeship, engineering degree, or higher education within Oil & Gas applications
• Experience from downhole operations or the Oil & Gas industry is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercial mindset combined with technical understanding
