At KN Helicopters, we are proud to support the green transition by providing safe and efficient helicopter transport to offshore wind farms and associated installations. As demand for renewable energy grows, so does the need for highly skilled Hoist Operators who thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment.
We are currently expanding our operations and looking for safety-focused Hoist Operators to join our dedicated team in Denmark. If you have experience with hoist operations, or under training to become a pilot we would like to hear from you.
We are located in Esbjerg, Roskilde, Grenaa and from September 2026 also Thorsminde.

About the role
As a Hoist Operator at KN Helicopters, you will be part of a professional crew operating Airbus H135/H145 helicopters to support offshore wind operations. You will play a key role in supporting offshore operations. Missions include precision hoisting to offshore turbines, vessels, and substations.You will operate from one of our bases (Esbjerg or Thorsminde) in Denmark, serving some of the largest and most innovative offshore wind projects in Northern Europe.
As a Hoist operator your main task includes precision hoisting to offshore turbines, vessels, and substations.
Who we are looking for
Essential requirements:- Physically and mentally fit
- Can pass EASA Class 2 medical
- English AND Scandinavian speaking (customer requirement)
- Must be a safety minded person
- Experience as a Hoist Operator, or under education as a pilot.
- Present a clean criminal record, to obtain access to airport facility
- You enjoy working as a part of a team.
- Residence in Denmark or nearby region
