Requirements:

Personal characteristics

Resultorientation, Strategic, Commerical and Customer mindset. Integrity and Good communicatation skills.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in managing planning in major construction companies, preferably in Road Works ( Highways) construction projects.
• Proficiency in using Primavera P6 - Tilos
• English professionally - Norwegian good.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or other Engineering areas.

Position

• Preparing and updating project schedules such as baseline schedules, comparison between actual and planned activities. (site data collection, storage and analysis) Coordinator of construction, Engineering ,permit and procurement schedule
• Prepare a programme of work and idetentify critical paths to target milestones and monitor the milestones with the production of the work on site. (as per industry standards and quality)
• Develop, in coordination with the Project Construction Manager, the schedule of civil works for the project, and check for variances with overall project schedule.
• Advise the Procurement, Manager(s) to coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that delivery schedules are met.
• Participate in internal project meetings with Project Managers, staff and subcontractors, raising weaknesses and delays in the schedule. Providing a comprehensive Earned Value metrics and variances.
• Develop and Manage link of the program with BOQ, and to create coordination between Planning, Cost Control and BIM teams
• Conduct Delay Analysis on subcontractor Programs and support EOT analysis process of the overall program.
• Coordinate and provide solutions to the Project Director/Manager in relation to planning and schedule control. Present the recovery plan and activities to make up for lost progress due to delays. (What if scenario)
• Help and support the planners and junior to develop the technical skills and train them when necessary.
• Develop, maintain and manage the performance of programme schedules by identifying emerging trends, analysing various interfaces of works and analysing the critical paths and sub critical paths. (Programme Risk Analysis)
