Kitchen assistent

We are currently seeking a kitchen assistent to join our team at Restaurant Bjørk in Bodø, Norway. As a kitchen assistent/Dishwasher, your main responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dishwashing station. This role is essential in ensuring our restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently.

• Washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots and pans

• Stocking and organizing clean dishes and kitchen supplies

• Emptying and cleaning trash and recycling bins

• Assisting with basic food preparation and plating

• Keeping the dishwashing area and kitchen clean and organized at all times

The work is evenings half week, splitting with our other team player

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items

• Reliable and punctual individual with a strong work ethic

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
