📍 Location: Stavanger (onshore) from 01.02.2026, followed by a 2/4 offshore rotation from 01.03.2026
 

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Advanced Project Completion Engineer/HAP Construction Lead to support the planning and execution of a high-activity offshore period (HAP). You will play a key role in ensuring that activities are well-prepared, prioritized, and safely executed, both onshore and offshore.

This position needs strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of SIMOPS (simultaneous operations) and operational best practices.

Key responsibilities

Onshore (Stavanger):

• Act as an active contributor during the planning phase, ensuring that the activity scope for the high-activity period is clearly defined and well-prepared.
• Support early SIMOPS assessments ahead of the flotell period.
• Take responsibility for ensuring that all planned activities are properly prioritized before the HAP starts.
• Collaborate closely with the HAP Lead to secure alignment and approval of priorities within both onshore and offshore organizations.

Offshore:

• Be part of the offshore leadership team, managing and following up on activities during the high-activity period in accordance with company procedures and best practices.
• Ensure that all HAP activities are well-prepared, prioritized, and coordinated with ongoing operations.
• Act as a key liaison between offshore and onshore teams, handling plan adjustments and communication.
• Contribute to SIMOPS evaluations, documentation, and risk management.
• Participate in permit-to-work and leadership meetings, lead the 72-hour meeting.
• Responsible for HAP reporting and follow-up.
• Participate in weekly coordination meetings and present jobs that need coordination.
• Support quality assurance, risk assessments, and operational planning.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in engineering (relevant experience may compensate for formal education).
• Minimum of 5 years of operational experience, preferably with cross-disciplinary coordination responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of work permit systems and SIMOPS.
• Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
• Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in complex operational environments.
