Do you have experience with marine Hull \& Machinery insurance?

Skuld Hull is now searching for an experienced Claims Handler for our head office in Oslo or our Bergen office. In this role you will handle claims within all aspects of Hull & Machinery, Property Damage (PD), Loss of hire and other associated insurances.

You will receive required training by colleagues and be given specific responsibilities from the start, making this a great opportunity to develop and contribute to the Team.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Handle all types of hull and loss of hire claims, including but not limited to groundings, collisions, salvage cases, machinery damages, recourse claims etc.
• Be a part of duty roster for the Emergency Phone for Skuld Hull.
• Work closely with Skuld colleagues across departments and all segments of Marine Insurance.
• Prepare and issue adjustments.

Relevant qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with H&M claims handling and adjusting
• Extensive knowledge of the Nordic Marine Insurance Plan, Chapters 1-16.
• Naval Architect
• Sea faring experience
• Marine technical knowledge
• Familiarity with Maritime Law
• Good English communication and presentation skills
